GS Engineering & Construction's (KRX:006360) Australian subsidiary GS Engineering & Construction Australia secured a subway tunnel construction project from the Suburban Rail Loop Authority via a consortium, Yonhap News reported Monday.
The consortium comprises two other firms.
The project is worth 1.56 trillion won, and will construct a 10-kilometer subway tunnel in Melbourne by 2035, the report said.
Shares of GS Engineering & Construction fell more than 1% at market close on Tuesday.
