Uni-President China (HKG:0220) recorded a post-tax profit of 1.64 billion yuan in the nine months ended Sept. 30, a Tuesday Hong Kong bourse filing said.
The profit figure will be disclosed by Uni-President, the food company's ultimate controlling shareholder, in certain financial data it is required to release related to investments made through its units in the Taiwan market.
Shares of the company closed 2% lower on Tuesday.
