LanzaTech Global (LNZA) shares were down nearly 14% in recent Friday trading after the company reported a Q3 loss that widened year-over-year on lower revenue, which fell short of analyst expectations.
The carbon refining company reported a Q3 net loss of $0.29 per share, widening from a loss of $0.13 a year earlier.
Three analysts polled by Capital IQ expected a loss of $0.10.
Revenue for the quarter ended Sept. 30 fell to $9.9 million from $19.6 million a year earlier.
Analysts surveyed by Capital IQ expected $17.9 million.
