13日，东京证券交易所暂停了711便利店运营商——柒和伊控股公司的股票交易，原因是需要核实该公司相关的收购报道。日本经济新闻于当日中午报道称，柒和伊控股公司正在考虑通过管理层收购（MBO）的方式，来抵御此前一家加拿大公司提出的收购方案。

据日本共同社13日报道，711便利店的运营商——日本柒和伊控股公司正在探讨进行管理层收购（MBO）。此次MBO的收购金额很可能超过6万亿日元（约合人民币2793亿元），或将创下历史新高。

据分析，此举意在通过摘牌退市，对抗加拿大便利店巨头的收购提议。一家销售额超过10万亿日元（约合人民币4655亿元）的企业若实现MBO，可谓十分罕见。迄今为止，日本国内企业MBO的最高金额纪录由日本大正制药控股保持，约为7100亿日元。

为了筹措收购资金，除了柒和伊控股公司创始人伊藤家族的出资外，也在考虑从大型银行贷款。此外，伊藤忠商事也可能参与出资。

然而，实现MBO并非易事。截至13日，柒和伊控股公司的市值为5.8万亿日元（约合人民币2700亿元）。此前，加拿大巨头Alimentation Couche-Tard (ACT) 曾向柒和伊提出收购，总额高达7万亿日元（约合人民币3259亿元）。柒和伊在9月表示无法接受该提议，并在10月再次收到提案后仍态度消极。
