Celebrations may be in order for Pro-Dex, Inc. (NASDAQ:PDEX) shareholders, with the covering analyst delivering a significant upgrade to their statutory estimates for the company. Consensus estimates suggest investors could expect greatly increased statutory revenues and earnings per share, with the analyst modelling a real improvement in business performance. Pro-Dex has also found favour with investors, with the stock up a remarkable 20% to US$49.55 over the past week. We'll be curious to see if these new estimates convince the market to lift the stock price higher still.
Following the upgrade, the latest consensus from Pro-Dex's solitary analyst is for revenues of US$61m in 2025, which would reflect a reasonable 7.4% improvement in sales compared to the last 12 months. Statutory earnings per share are presumed to jump 25% to US$2.00. Previously, the analyst had been modelling revenues of US$54m and earnings per share (EPS) of US$1.42 in 2025. So we can see there's been a pretty clear increase in analyst sentiment in recent times, with both revenues and earnings per share receiving a decent lift in the latest estimates.

With these upgrades, we're not surprised to see that the analyst has lifted their price target 73% to US$52.00 per share.
Looking at the bigger picture now, one of the ways we can make sense of these forecasts is to see how they measure up against both past performance and industry growth estimates. The period to the end of 2025 brings more of the same, according to the analyst, with revenue forecast to display 10.0% growth on an annualised basis. That is in line with its 12% annual growth over the past five years. Compare this with the broader industry, which analyst estimates (in aggregate) suggest will see revenues grow 8.3% annually. It's clear that while Pro-Dex's revenue growth is expected to continue on its current trajectory, it's only expected to grow in line with the industry itself.
The most important thing to take away from this upgrade is that the analyst upgraded their earnings per share estimates for this year, expecting improving business conditions. There was also an upgrade to revenue estimates, although as we saw earlier, forecast growth is only expected to be about the same as the wider market. Given that the consensus looks almost universally bullish, with a substantial increase to forecasts and a higher price target, Pro-Dex could be worth investigating further.
With that said, the long-term trajectory of the company's earnings is a lot more important than next year. We have analyst estimates for Pro-Dex going out as far as 2026, and you can see them free on our platform here.
