BlockBeats 消息，11 月 16 日，美国检察官表示，被判有罪的 Archegos 资本管理公司创始人比尔·黄 (Bil Hwang) 应该被判处 21 年监禁。
据悉，2021 年 3 月起，Archegos 因使用大量高杠杆的衍生品回避申报义务，遭遇不利行情而爆仓，被迫大量抛售持仓中的多只中概股，包括百度、腾讯音乐以及唯品会。不仅是 Archegos 在此次强平中损失 100 亿美元，被抛售的股票市值也蒸发 330 亿美元。与 Archegos 交易的投行们也损失惨重，摩根大通发布报告称, 包括高盛、摩根士丹利、富国银行、瑞银、瑞信以及野村证券等六家投行涉事投行的损失总额达 50 亿-100 亿美元。
公开资料显示，Bill Hwang 是韩国人，曾在 Julian Robertson 创立的老虎基金里任股票分析师一职。2001 年，Bill Hwang 成立了老虎亚洲基金 2012 年因涉及内幕交易被美国证券交易委员会 (SEC) 调查，同时香港证券及期货事务监察委员会 (SFC) 也下令禁止其在香港市场进行交易。
