Carry Wealth Holdings (HKG:0643) appointed Shen Peng as board chairman, effective Nov. 12, according to a Tuesday filing with the Hong Kong bourse.
Shen assumed the role vacated by Ma Xiaoqiu, who was removed from the position in March of this year along with two other directors due to differences in management style and philosophy.
Shen is currently a non-executive director of Wenye Group Holdings (HKG:1802) and the chief executive of Allurefem Holding (HKG:8305).
The apparel manufacturer's shares rose almost 13% in Wednesday's afternoon trade.
