Kyndryl (KD) and Microsoft (MSFT) have partnered to create a new line of cyber-security tools for business customers, as part of a broader collaboration between the technology companies that also includes several new mainframe and cloud modernization applications, the companies said.

The new cybersecurity applications have been integrated into the Kyndryl Bridge digital business platform, with the former IBM (IBM) unit also joining the Microsoft Intelligent Security Association of software and managed security companies.

Kyndryl and Microsoft began their global strategic alliance in November 2021, coinciding with Kyndryl's spinoff from IBM, to develop end-to-end digital services and expand artificial intelligence and generative AI tools for enterprise customers using mainframe and cloud platforms.
