SouthGobi Resources (HKG:1878) recorded a decline in attributable profit for the three months ended Sept. 30 to $10 million from $29.3 million in the year-ago period, a Thursday bourse filing said.
Earnings per share were $0.034 in the quarter, down from $0.099 in the third quarter of 2023.
The coal mining company's revenue rose to $143.7 million in the quarter from $98 million a year prior, mainly due to a higher sales volume.
Shares of the company closed over 3% lower on Thursday.
