Contact Energy (ASX:CEN, NZE:CEN) saw contracted wholesale electricity sales, including those sold to the customer business, sliding to 699 gigawatt hours (GWh) in October from 742 GWh the previous year.
Mass market electricity and gas sales declined year over year to 320 GWh from 349 GWh, according to a Wednesday filing with the Australian bourse.
The power generator's wholesale business generated or acquired 717 GWh of electricity in October, down from 848 GWh the previous year.
