BlockBeats 消息，11 月 15 日，以太坊联合创始人 Vitalik Buterin 在接受 Foresight News 采访时表示：
“在互联网上，有很多人说了一些我觉得奇怪的想法，比如以太坊的价值观是没有用的，Crypto 是个赌博市场。但是在以太坊社区里，有一些人包括很多中国人，他们参与以太坊的目标，是因为我们有一些特别重视的价值观和人生理想，我们想做一个开放的世界，想做一个去中心化的区块链和平台，我们会去做一些可持续的应用，我们会做一些对社会更美好的应用。”
此外，Vitalik 在回答“如何看待 Solana 时”表示：
“我觉得他们真的比以太坊中心化的多。第一，跑 Solana 的节点比跑以太坊的节点要难的多；第二，Solana 的 PoS 更中心化；第三，社区有更多的事情，是由 Solana 基金会直接支持的。而且 Solana 的应用对去中心化的需求比以太坊低很多。我觉得他们追求的一些市场目标和以太坊真的是不一样的。”
