DMC Global President and Chief Executive Michael Kuta is retiring, effective Nov. 29, after about a decade at the company.
Executive Chairman James O'Leary will serve as interim president and CEO following Kuta's retirement, DMC said Wednesday.
DMC, a Broomfield, Colo.-based holding company, makes products for the energy, industrial and infrastructure markets.
O'Leary joined DMC's board a year ago and was elevated to executive chairman last month, when the company issued weak guidance for its third quarter. He previously served as CEO of Kaydon, a maker of highly engineered industrial products. He is also on the board of Builders FirstSource.
Kuta was named CEO in August 2023, and joined the company in 2014 as chief financial officer.
