Insurance technology platform Huize Holding said it is planning to change the ratio of its American depositary shares, from 1 to 20 to a new ratio of 1 to 100.
The change in ratio will have the same impact on ADS holders as a 1-for-5 reverse split, the company said.
The ratio change is expected to take place on or about Dec. 9, according to the company. No fractional ADSs will be issued, and holders will receive cash in lieu of a fractional ADS.
The company's ADSs closed trading Tuesday on the Nasdaq at 75 cents.
