Keppel Infrastructure Trust's SG$200 Million Perpetual Securities Qualify for Tax Concessions

Keppel Infrastructure Trust (SGX:A7RU) said the SG$200 million 4.90% perpetual securities issued on Aug. 2 qualify as debt securities under Singapore's Income Tax Act, according to a Friday filing on the Singapore Exchange.

As such, distributions on the securities will be treated as interest, allowing holders to benefit from tax concessions under the Qualifying Debt Securities scheme, subject to specified conditions.
