Kingsoft Corporation (HKG:3888) recorded a profit of 413.4 million yuan for the third quarter of the year, 1,351% higher than 28.5 million yuan last year, a Tuesday filing with the Hong Kong exchange said.
Earnings per share surged to 0.29 yuan from 0.02 yuan a year ago.
The software company's revenue for the third quarter hit 2.91 billion yuan, up 42% from 2.06 billion yuan a year ago.
The company attributed the increase in revenue to the success of JX3 Online and the launch of JX3 Ultimate, improved performance of other games of the company, and an increase in the domestic individual office subscription business of Beijing Kingsoft Office Software.
The company's shares were up nearly 2% on Tuesday's close.
