Citi Trends (CTRN) said Tuesday its board has appointed Kenneth Seipel as chief executive officer, effective Nov. 18.
Seipel had served as interim CEO since June, the company said.
Citi Trends also named Executive Chairman Peter Sachse as chairman of the board.
The company also reported preliminary Q3 sales of $179.1 million and comparable store sales growth of 5.7% year on year.
The company's shares were up 6% in recent trading.
