Trump Media & Technology Group (DJT) is negotiating to buy Intercontinental Exchange's (ICE) cryptocurrency trading platform Bakkt, the Financial Times reported Monday, citing two people with knowledge of the talks.

Trump Media and Technology Group is looking for an all-share purchase of Bakkt, adding that Bakkt's cryptocurrency holding business will not be part of the deal, the people reportedly said.

Neither Trump Media and Technology Group nor Intercontinental Exchange immediately responded to MT Newswires' requests for comment.

Shares of Trump Media & Technology Group were up 15% in recent trading.
