BlockBeats 消息，11 月 21 日，链上侦探 ZachXBT 披露，一位名为 Ronaldd（真实身份为 Ronald Spektor）的社会工程诈骗者被指控通过冒充 Coinbase 客服，在上月从一名受害者处窃取了 650 万美元。
事件发生于 10 月 7 日，受害者当时接到伪装成 Coinbase 客服的电话，被诱导访问钓鱼网站，从而导致资金被盗。链上追踪显示，被盗资金流向 eXch 平台后被兑换成 LTC，并分散至多个服务平台。
仅几天后，Ronaldd 便在 Discord 上通过屏幕分享炫耀其 Ledger Live 账户显示 10 月 8 日收到的 310 万美元。进一步调查发现，其 Telegram 账号关联的 TON 地址显示资金来源于多个交易所，并与其他 Coinbase 提款记录有关联，进一步证明了其参与此次诈骗的可能性。
此外，向其地址充值的地址与其他多个 Coinbase 提款相关联，表明有更多潜在的此类诈骗受害者。
