Advance Residence Investment Introduces Renewable Diesel in Japan

Advance Residence Investment (TYO:3269) has implemented Neste's Renewable Diesel (RD) at its property, marking a first for Japan and a J-REIT in using RD for emergency generators in condominiums, according to its filing on Friday.
Supplied by Itochu Enex, and procured by Itochu Corp.(TYO:8001), this initiative aims to support decarbonization efforts by significantly reducing greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions.
The RD can cut emissions by up to 90% compared to traditional diesel, based on life cycle assessment. This move is part of ADR's strategy to enhance energy efficiency and sustainability at its properties.
