Whitefield Industrials' (ASX:WHF) net profit rose 10% to AU$10.9 million for the fiscal first half ended Sep.30 from AU$10 million in the same period a year ago, according to a Thursday filing with the Australian bourse.
Earnings per share rose to AU$0.0903, compared with AU$0.0828 in the year-ago period. the filing said.
Investment revenue from ordinary activities rose 9% to AU$13.3 million from AU$12.2 million year on year, the filing added.
Whitefield Industrials declared an interim dividend of AU$0.105 per share with a record date of Nov. 28 payable on Dec. 13, higher than the AU$0.1025 dividend paid last year.
