智通财经APP获悉，据报道，莱迪思半导体(LSCC.US)正在评估竞购英特尔(INTC.US)的可编程芯片业务Altera。

知情人士表示，莱迪思半导体正在与顾问合作，并正在寻找私募股权投资者，因为它正在考虑对Altera提出收购要约。

知情人士表示，私募股权公司Francisco Partners、贝恩资本和银湖资本正在研究投资Altera的提议。Altera也可能吸引其他半导体公司的兴趣。

据报道，竞购Altera的截止日期是下周感恩节假期之前。英特尔希望出售Altera的少数股权，而不是整个业务。

媒体上月报道称，英特尔正寻求从少数合伙人那里为Altera筹集数十亿美元，当时对Altera的估值为170亿美元。

报道称，私募股权投资公司正在考虑向Altera投资约30亿美元，这些投资可能以结构性工具的形式出现。

英特尔于2015年以167亿美元的价格收购了Altera。
