News Corp (NWSA) said Wednesday its shareholders voted against a proposal, as recommended by its board, to do away with its dual-class capital structure.
News Corp shareholder Starboard Value and Opportunity Master Fund had pushed for a recapitalization plan.
Shareholders also elected the company's full slate of directors during its annual meeting, it said.
