Oppenheimer analysts provided technical analysis for five stocks, all rated “outperform.”

This is “technical color” for stocks discussed in Oppenheimer’s research call by analysts.

Buy

Gilead Sciences (GILD) – Uptrend

This stock has a trend with “top-down headwinds from a relatively weak biotechnology (XBI) industry.”

Corning (GLW) – Uptrend

The stock is attempting to break through its April 2021 peak. “It’s also notable the stock is still trading below its year-2000 high at $113,” analysts wrote. But its bullish trend and high-momentum “argues for a definitive breakout to a new cycle high over the coming weeks to months.”

McGrath RentCorp (MGRC) – Reversing higher

The stock has been showing improvement since its late-October breakout above its 200-day average. However, its lower momentum score “leaves something to be desired,” analysts said.

Hold

Alcon (ALC) – Reversing lower

The stock’s trend broke below its $89 resistance (200-day average), and analysts see $82 as imminent support.

RxSight (RXST) – Downtrend

This stock also broke below its $53 resistance (200-day average), and analysts see $41 as imminent support.
