China 21st Century Education Group's (HKG:1598) Chinese operating entities Beijing Zhihang Education Technology, Shijiazhuang Yuying Experimental High School, and Hebei Zerui Education Technology agreed to grant about 180.6 million yuan in loans to certain borrowers, a Thursday Hong Kong bourse filing said.
The loans will be provided under nine separate loan agreements with maturity terms varying from 6 months from the respective drawdown date to 12 months from the respective drawdown date and the principal amount carrying from 10 million yuan to 36.6 million yuan.
The interest on the loans also varies from nil to 1.8 million and will be payable on the maturity date.
The loans were financed by the internal resources of the group.
