With Bitcoin's (BTC-USD) $100,000 milestone firmly in sight, more Seeking Alpha subscribers have expressed openness towards crypto investments. However, most of them seem to be against the idea of the U.S. creating a Strategic Bitcoin Reserve.

Back on the campaign trail, now President-elect Donald Trump jumped on the crypto bandwagon and promised to create such a stockpile of crypto and fight Central Bank Digital Currency (CBDC), among others.

Recently, Trump's team of advisers has reportedly been holding talks with the digital asset industry about whether to form a new White House position focused on cryptocurrency policy.

During the presidential election campaign, Trump laid out plans to turn the country into the "crypto capital of the planet and the bitcoin (BTC-USD) superpower of the world."

As of early Thursday, the world's largest cryptocurrency rose by about 4%, hovering near the $97,000 level. Bitcoin has soared about 40% in about the two weeks since Trump's win in the U.S. presidential elections.
