消息面上，11月17日，诺和诺德中国在上海举办媒体发布会宣布，减重版司美格鲁肽正式在国内上市。该药是全球首个且目前唯一用于长期体重管理的胰高糖素样肽-1受体激动剂(GLP-1)周制剂，能够实现平均17%的体重降幅。公司已经开始申请诺和盈的省级招标挂网，具体定价可参考挂网价格；上市之后，诺和诺德将根据肥胖症患者在全国的分布进行涵盖公立医院、私立医院以及药店等全渠道的布局。
瑞银发布研报指出，在新型降血糖治疗药物GLP1最近问世之前，在没有便捷、可负担且有效的治疗下，估计内地超重或肥胖症人士当中仅0.1%接受临床治疗。GLP-1的临床测试结果及正面回馈，料显著渗透减肥市场及第二型糖尿病市场，该药在后者已有14%市占率。该行预测，信达生物玛仕度肽料在2034年取得中国GLP-1市场18%的市占率，基于该药的三项优势，包括预期期将在明年上半年为首个双目标GLP-1药物获准用于减肥用途，临床测试展示良好效用及安全性，以及公司强劲的商业化能力。
