最早投资比特币的一位美国专业投资者，加密货币始祖这种破纪录的行情可能才刚刚启动。
“2013年的时候大家简直都觉得我们是疯了，” Dan Morehead接受采访时谈到Pantera Capital Management逾11年前推出的比特币基金时说，“现在持负面看法的人还是很多。这也是我如此看涨的原因。这么多人仍然持负面看法。它离泡沫还远着呢。”
这位Pantera的创始人兼管理合伙人周二在致投资者的信中写道，该基金自2013年7月以来产生了132,118%的终身回报率。
Morehead还预测，比特币的价格最终可能达到74万美元，因加密货币“15年的监管逆风现在正在变成顺风”。他指出，美国候任总统唐纳德·特朗普及其新政府对加密货币日益友好的态度是增长的最大催化剂之一。
Pantera的比特币基金被认为首次让美国投资者获得了这种加密货币的敞口。该基金2013年推出时，比特币的价格在74美元。周二比特币报92，000美元左右，上周末还曾首次撩拨了10万美元大关。比特币今年来飙升了约120%。
