Nov 26 (Reuters) - The U.S. Federal Trade Commission said on Tuesday it would take action against Evolv Technologies

over allegations the company deceived users about its artificial intelligence security screening systems' ability to detect weapons in school settings.

A proposed settlement with Evolv would bar the company from making unsupported claims about its products and give certain K-12 school customers the option to cancel their contracts, the FTC said in a statement.
