IperionX (ASX:IPX) completed the acquisition of Blacksand Technology's assets and intellectual property portfolio, according to a Tuesday filing with the Australian bourse.
This grants IperionX exclusive commercial rights to the suite's titanium-related patents and proprietary technologies, including Green Rutile, Alkaline Roasting Hydrolysis, Hydrogen Assisted Metallothermic Reduction, and Hydrogen Sintering and Phase Transformation, the filing stated.
IperionX is using the technologies to manufacture titanium products that it said exceed benchmark quality standards.
The company's shares were down almost 2% in recent Tuesday trade.
