Gentrack Group (NZE:GTK, ASX:GTK) reported fiscal 2024 diluted earnings of NZ$0.08 per share, compared with NZ$0.10 per share in the year-ago period, according to a Tuesday filing with the Australian and New Zealand bourses.
Analysts polled by Visible Alpha expected EPS of NZ$0.12.
Profit attributable to shareholders declined 5% year over year to NZ$9.5 million from NZ$10 million.
Revenue for the year ended Sept. 30 climbed nearly 26% to NZ$213.2 million from NZ$169.9 million a year earlier. Analysts surveyed by Visible Alpha expected NZ$203.7 million.
In the utilities business, revenue climbed 23% to NZ$181.3 million.
The utility company maintained its mid-term guidance of more than 15% revenue growth on a compound annual growth rate and earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization margin of 15% to 20% after expensing all development costs, the filing stated.
The company's shares surged almost 9% in recent Tuesday trade in New Zealand.
