消息面上，11月26日，中新（海南）空港商业管理有限公司在海口美兰机场酒店成功召开了第一次股东会暨第一届董事会第一次会议。中新空港由海南控股旗下的海口美兰国际机场和新加坡樟宜机场国际管理投资公司共同成立。据悉，美兰空港此前公告，樟宜国际机场与海南美兰国际机场股份有限公司签署合资协议，合资公司将管理海口美兰国际机场的非航业务。
大摩发布研报称，中国机场长期以来依赖免税业务，其他业务营运效率较低；中国机场商业运营尚未充分发展，仍有很大改进空间。随着美兰空港与樟宜机场在商业运营方面的合作不断加强，期待其他中国机场也将加大力度探索商业机会。该行指出，美兰空港与樟宜机场在商业运营方面的合作将于2025年开始，期待很快看到积极的变化。
