消息面上，11月25日晚至26日凌晨，比特币价格在冲高至约99000美元/枚后转头向下，一度跌破93000美元关口，最大跌幅超过6%。截至发稿，比特币报94565美元/枚。
美国亿万富翁、知名加密货币投资者迈克尔·诺沃格拉茨曾表示，比特币正突破一系列的纪录创下高位，投资者应该为短暂的回调做好准备。他承认，比特币触及10万美元是“不可避免的”，但随着投资者解除杠杆押注，可能会回落多达20%。
