Chrysos (ASX:C79) said installation of a PhotonAssay unit at TSX-listed OceanaGold's Macraes operation in New Zealand is set to be done in the second half of fiscal 2025, according to a Wednesday filing with the Australian bourse.
Existing customer SGS will operate the PhotonAssay unit, the first miner-leased unit operated by a laboratory onsite, the filing said.
The mining technology supplier and developer secured a three-year deal with OceanaGold, with a potential two-year extension, according to the filing.
Chrysos shares fell more than 1% in morning trade Wednesday.
