Eli Lilly (LLY) and Novo Nordisk (NVO) shares were higher in Tuesday's premarket activity after the White House announced a proposal to expand Medicaid and Medicare coverage to include more anti-obesity indications for their popular weight loss and diabetes drugs.
Shares of Eli Lilly were up nearly 4% and Novo Nordisk more than 3% in pre-bell activity.
