BUZZ-HP falls on downbeat Q1 profit forecast

** Shares of PC maker HP Inc fall 8.3% to $35.86 premarket

** HP expects Q1 adj. profit per share to be between 70 cents and 76 cents, vs analysts' estimate of 85 cents- LSEG

** Brokerages JP Morgan and Citigroup cut PT on the stock

** Barclays raises PT, reflecting recovery in PC spending

** Co's Q1 profit forecast was impacted by seasonal volumes decline and softer PC margin- Barclays

** The managements plans of rebound in PCs and low single-digit decline in print are realistic if macro eases and if enterprises spend on IT equipment in combination with policies enacted under new administration- JP Morgan

** Consumer PC continues to be under pressure despite commercial PC faring better across the industry - Barclays

** For fiscal 2025, company forecasts adj. profit between $3.45 and $3.75 per share, the midpoint of which is in line with estimates

** Five of 17 brokerages rate the stock "buy" or higher, 11 "hold" and 1 "sell" or lower; their median PT is $37

** Up to last close, stock had risen ~30% YTD
