Mercury General Amends Credit Agreement

Mercury General (MCY) said it amended its credit agreement with Bank of America (BAC), extending the loan's maturity date to Nov. 18, 2027.

The amendment, known as the third amendment to the amended and restated credit agreement, modifies the original agreement dated March 31, 2021, according to a Tuesday filing with the US Securities and Exchange Commission.

Bank of America serves as the administrative agent for the agreement, which also involves other lenders.

Shares of Mercury General were up 1% in recent trading.
