【美航司被揭露收取百亿美元选座费 高管将面临听证会】金十数据11月27日讯，当地时间11月26日，美国国会参议院常设调查小组委员会发布报告，抨击美国的航空公司收取航班选座费。该小组委员会主席表示，航空公司高管已被传唤出席将于12月4日举行的听证会，就这一做法作证。报告称，2018年至2023年间，美国航空、达美航空、联合航空、精神航空和边疆航空共计收取124亿美元的选座费，其中包括腿部空间更大的座位、位于机舱前部的座位以及靠窗或靠过道的座位。据悉，虽然大多数美国主要航空公司已经取消了标准经济舱机票的改签费，但他们却对飞机上某些更受欢迎或更宽敞的座位增加了费用。此外，航空公司也在竞相增加机上高级座位以提高收入。
