Update: Citigroup Names Kate Moore as CIO of Wealth Unit

Citigroup (C) has appointed Kate Moore as chief investment officer of its new wealth unit, according to a memo sent to MT Newswires by a company spokesperson.

Moore, who previously worked as a portfolio manager for BlackRock (BLK), is expected to join Citigroup in February, Andy Sieg, the head of the unit, said in the memo.

Steven Wieting has served as interim CIO of Citi's wealth unit for the past six months, according to the memo.
