Alliance Aviation Services (ASX:AQZ) entered three contracts to sell six Embraer E190 airframes and 13 surplus Rolls-Royce engine cores, according to a Thursday filing with the Australian bourse.
Under the first two contracts, the six Embraer E190 airframes will be sold to Scissortail Aviation and Bellinger Asset Management and are expected to be delivered by the end of February 2025, the filing stated.
As per the agreement, Alliance will retain ownership of the engines, undercarriage, and auxiliary power unit, which will be stored in Europe and marketed for sale or retained for the company's use if required.
Meanwhile, the 13 surplus, time expired, or unserviceable Rolls-Royce Tay 620/650 engine cores will be sold to Airline Technical Support Caribe. The deliveries have started and will be completed in February 2025.
These cores are being sold following the acquisition of serviceable engines to replace the Rolls-Royce "Total Care" program starting January 2025, the filing said.
Alliance Aviation Services' shares were up almost 8% in recent Thursday trade.
