California Resources Taps Banker Clio Crespy as CFO

California Resources on Monday named energy investment banker Clio Crespy as its next finance chief., effective Jan. 1.

The Long Beach, Calif., oil and gas company said Chief Financial Officer Nelly Molina would step down at the end of the year. Molina was appointed to the position in May 2023.

CRC said that Crespy, 39 year old, recently worked in investment banking for global energy and power at Guggenheim Securities and led the firm's sustainability practice. She has also advised deals among energy and power companies at Evercore and BNP Paribas.

The company said in a regulatory filing that Crespy would receive a base salary of $615,000, and would be eligible for a target annual cash bonus of 100% of her salary.
