Endeavour Group (ASX:EDV) plans to participate in the Victoria government's new technology trial for electronic gaming machines in support of procedural legislation related to gaming regulation, according to a Tuesday filing with the Australian bourse.
The trials, due to start next year, will test the use of facial recognition technology in minimizing harm, with trials being conducted in ALH Hotels in other states as well, the filing said.
Endeavour Group's shares rose past 2% in recent Tuesday trade.
