Brightstar Resources' (ASX:BTR) proposed acquisition of Alto Metals (ASX:AME) via a scheme of arrangement secured approval from the Supreme Court of Western Australia, according to a Friday filing with the Australian bourse.
Alto Metals is expected to file the court order with the Australian Securities and Investments Commission by Dec. 2 to make the scheme effective, the filing said.
Trading in Alto's shares is expected to be suspended also on Dec. 2, and the company will removed from the Australian Securities Exchange official list by Dec. 10, the filing said.
Brightstar Resources' shares surged past 4% in recent Friday trade.
