Union Gas Expands with New Business in Indonesia

Union Gas Holdings (SGX:1F2) has launched a new venture in Batam, Indonesia, through its subsidiary PT Global Industrial Gases (PTGIG), according to a Thursday filing on the Singapore Exchange.

PTGIG, which will focus on the production of industrial gases, is 95% owned by U-Global Pte Ltd, with the remaining 5% held by Indonesian national Adrian Yanlin.

The company will produce basic industrial gases, including ammonia, dry ice, and noble gases such as helium and argon.
