Eni (E) said Thursday it agreed with Cote d'Ivoire's Ministry of Mines, Oil, and Energy to acquire four new offshore exploration blocks.
The new exploration blocks cover 5,720 square kilometers, with depths between 1,000 and 3,500 meters, the company said.
The agreements allow exploration of the blocks for up to 9 years, it added.
