DevvStream (DEVS) said Friday has entered the International Renewable Energy Certificate market through an agreement to acquire renewable and carbon assets from Sogod Energy's 730-megawatt-peak Medellin Solar Power facility in the Philippines.
The facility, part of the "Medellin 2030" smart city plan, will generate over 1.2 million I-RECs annually once fully operational, DevvStream said.
The first phase of the facility is expected to be completed within six months, with I-REC production starting shortly thereafter, DevvStream said.
