Laser Photonics (LASE) said Friday that it is allocating resources to a research and development initiative for industrial laser solutions in the fields of pharmaceutical tablet drilling, wafer scribing, and semiconductor marking.
The company said the undertaking follows its recent acquisition of Control Micro Systems and its laser technologies.
Laser Photonics said it seeks to use the newly acquired systems to expand into new sectors.
