三菱日联金融集团回应日经新闻称，正在考虑让智能投顾WealthNavi成为全资子公司，周五稍早报道称，该公司计划对尚未持有的股份发起要约收购。三菱日联表示目前尚未做出决定，将在周五的管理层会议上讨论此事，将立即宣布任何需要披露的内容。另外WealthNavi也宣布，将在周五的董事会会议上讨论此事。
