中新网圣保罗12月4日电 （记者 林春茵）当地时间3日，总部位于巴西里约热内卢的矿业巨头淡水河谷公布，将在巴西试运营卡帕内玛最大化项目，这将致巴西米纳斯吉拉斯州马里亚纳综合运营区的铁矿石年产能增加1500万吨。

　　卡帕内玛最大化项目除投资恢复马里亚纳综合运营区里所属的卡帕内玛矿区的运营外，还包括安装一条远距离传送带、以及改建廷博佩巴（Timbopeba）铁路终点站的堆场和装货场。卡帕内玛矿区将使用自动驾驶卡车，并通过使用自然水分选矿，生产烧结粉，避免产生尾矿。

　　“我们正在用更安全、更高效且更可持续的方式恢复卡帕内玛矿区的运营。卡帕内玛矿区将以低成本且不产生废弃物的方式生产烧结粉。该矿区将使用自动驾驶卡车，这将提高安全性，并减少运营中产生的二氧化碳排放。”淡水河谷首席执行官毕闻达（Gustavo Pimenta）说。

　　淡水河谷公告称，卡帕内玛最大化项目是淡水河谷实现“到2026年使铁矿石年产能达到3.4亿吨至3.6亿吨”这一指导目标过程中达成的重要里程碑，将提高公司运营和产品组合的灵活性。（完）
