格隆汇12月4日｜万事达与英国一批消费者达成和解协议，解决当地一宗与收费相关的集体诉讼。这是英国自2021年以来首宗获得批准的集体诉讼。双方没有提及和解费，但路透引述消息人士称，万事达同意支付2亿英镑款项，以结束有关诉讼。Walter Merricks代表4600万名英国成年消费者于5年前提出诉讼，指万事达收费不合理，令到消费者额外支付巨额费用，因此要求其退还多收的费用。今年10月，英国竞争上诉局(CAT)裁定万事达多收英国消费者10亿英镑后，万事达上诉至英国最高法院，案件排期聆讯。万事达周二称，与Merricks达成原则性的和解协议，协议仍待CAT批准后方才生效。
