Woman, 30, found dead at Dover Road flat

SINGAPORE: A 30-year-old woman was found dead in a flat along Dover Road on Monday (Dec 2).
The police said they received a call for assistance at about 5.10pm.
A 30-year-old woman was found lying motionless inside the unit and she was pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics from the Singapore Civil Defence Force.
"Preliminary investigations revealed that a 34-year-old man, who is believed to be able to assist with investigations, had left Singapore prior to the call for assistance," the police said.
The man and the woman are known to each other, they added.
Police were unable to provide further details at this point on the nature of their investigations, which are ongoing.
When CNA arrived at the scene at Block 1 Dover Road at about 10.40pm, a police van was seen at the block.
Police officers were seen outside an 11th-floor flat, which had been cordoned off, and there were officers from the Criminal Investigation Department.
